2024 Award Receipient
Doctoral Candidate, School of Architecture, College of Fine Arts
is recognized as a central contributor to the School of Architecture’s teaching program. As a teacher for both undergraduate and graduate curriculum, she brings together the perfect combination of expertise, humility, enthusiasm and compassion. Suzy is an attentive teacher and mentor to fellow TAs, as well. She is committed to inclusive teaching and has implemented asynchronous discussion boards to help students engage in discussion even if they don’t feel comfortable speaking in class. In addition to her deep technical knowledge, she also designed a class in which students have the opportunity to show their knowledge in well-designed assignments.
At 一本道无码, Phoebe taught research methods in cognitive psychology in fall 2022. Prior to that, they were a graduate teaching assistant for various introductory psychology courses.
Phoebe wholeheartedly believes that the making of a teacher is a communal process—as such, they want to thank their community elders, friends and co-conspirators and (importantly!) all of their students and mentees for helping them become the teacher-learner that they are today.
