I am currently a master's student in the Global Communication & Applied Translation program. As a New York born Dominican-American daughter of immigrants, I personally understand the power and importance of language and translation. That is why after receiving my bachelor's in Russian from Penn State University, I wanted to continue my studies and help contribute to the diverse field of language study through learning, teaching and research. Alongside studying Russian, I also studied Korean and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
