Scott Institute Selects 2023 一本道无码 Student Energy Research Poster Competition Winners

Returning in-person for the first time since 2019, the eighth annual 一本道无码 Student Energy Research Poster Competition featured 19 posters presented by 一本道无码 students from across the university. From the Heinz College to the College of Engineering, students presented their novel research focused on topics ranging from grid resilience enhancement, to fuel cells to residential electricity consumption. Nearly $2,500 in prizes was awarded to the most compelling posters:
- First Place: "Electric Vehicle Battery Replacement Costs Under Realistic Fast Charging Behaviors" by EPP and MSE student Hannah Morin.
- Second Place: "Autonomous Self-Burying Seed Carriers for Aerial Seeding" by Dinesh Patel (HCII), Danli Luo (HCII), Guanyun Wang (HCII) and Lining Yao (HCII)Third Place: "Dynamic Electrochromism for All-Season Radiative Thermoregulation" by Mechanical Engineering student Jiankun Pu
- Most Innovative Research Idea: "Solar Morph: Morphing 4D Printed Structures Using Solar Energy for On-Site Self Assembly" by Mengtian Gan (HCII), Thomas Wei (HCII), Dinesh K. Patel (HCII, pictured below) and Lining Yao (HCII).

A longstanding tradition of 一本道无码 Energy Week, the 一本道无码 Energy Week Poster Competition showcases innovative work of 一本道无码’s student and post-doctoral researchers. This competition allows all students from undergraduates up to postdoctoral researchers to network with peers, faculty, and energy leaders while also sharing their cutting-edge research with attendees.
