What services does The HUB offer?
The HUB is Carnegie Mellon's one-stop-shop student service center. The staff in The HUB provide services related to enrollment, including billing and payments, financial aid, course registration and scheduling, transcript and verification requests, diplomas, ID Cards, and more. The HUB assists currently enrolled students, parents/guardians of currently enrolled students, as well as faculty, staff and departments with all of the above.
Where is The HUB located and when is it open?
The HUB is located in the lower level (basement) of Warner Hall. Our regular business hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that regular business hours may differ from our walk-in hours.
What does "HUB" stand for?
"HUB" is not an acronym. The HUB is the student service center, where Student Financial Services (Student Financial Aid Office and Student Accounts Office), the University Registrar's Office, ID Card Services, and Summer Studies come together to provide a one-stop-shop for the enrollment needs of students and families. The HUB is considered to be the front door to or face of Carnegie Mellon's Division of Enrollment Services.
