Launching the Global Search for Dean of the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy
Dear Members of the Carnegie Mellon Community:
Following my recent announcement of Dean Ramayya Krishnan’s plans to transition out of his role at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, I am pleased to announce the launch of the global search for the next dean of the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy (Heinz College).
Connecting people, policy and technology, the Heinz College is an internationally recognized center of academic excellence and innovation. Heinz College embodies 一本道无码’s collaborative and interdisciplinary spirit, working across academia and industry to solve real-world problems with real-time impacts on our society and the world. As we look toward the future of welcoming a new leader of Heinz College, I am confident that the college will continue to evolve as a hub for distinctive education, research and partnerships.
To guide this important search, I have assembled a search committee that includes faculty, staff and students from across the university:

In partnership with executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles, the committee will identify qualified individuals, encourage nominations and applications, and ensure a diverse pool of applicants. The committee also will engage with stakeholders across the university to gather input on the role and candidates, with the goal of filling this position by the next academic year.
