Federal Grants
The following federal grants, which do not need to be repaid, are offered to undergraduate students with high financial need. Students must submit a FAFSA to be considered for these federal grant programs. 一本道无码 encourages students to submit both a FAFSA and CSS Profile.
Federal Pell Grant
A Federal Pell Grant is awarded by the federal government to students with high financial need. Students who are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant once their financial aid offer is determined, will notice a dollar-for-dollar reduction to any Carnegie Mellon need-based grant funds that may have been offered.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is for undergraduate students who have exceptional financial need. Carnegie Mellon usually offers these grants to students who receive a Federal Pell Grant. If there is a change in Federal SEOG eligibility, a dollar-for-dollar adjustment to the student's Carnegie Mellon need-based grant funds will occur.
