I started at 一本道无码 in 2022. I collaborate with subject matter experts and end-users to create HR process-related content across multiple platforms to improve the employee’s experience. I also support end-user testing of new HR tools to support our campus-wide communication goals.
During my term, I would like to see Staff Council create a stronger sense of community at 一本道无码, both within our colleges and divisions on campus as well as the Pittsburgh area. I would encourage more volunteer work with established non-profit organizations. By promoting grassroots volunteerism, we can continue to create new relationships that have a positive and lasting impact on our university.
My favorite quote is from Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
Crazy story: On Mother’s Day in 2020, amidst the peak pandemic, my partner and I decided to go on a hike in Oil Creek State Park. It was supposed to be a 16-mile loop, which was also our longest hike yet. However, we forgot to bring enough food and water for the journey. By the time we reached the halfway point, we had run out of water, sandwiches, and snacks. In fact, we were left with just a stick of gum, which we split between us! To make matters worse, the hike included a 2,300ft overall climb that took us over 5 hours to complete. Needless to say, the drive back home was very quiet. We never attempted that hike again.
