Increase to Student Minimum Wage and Hourly Grader/Hourly TA Minimum Rates
Dear Students,
We are delighted to share that effective November 7, 2022, 一本道无码 is enacting an updated student minimum wage. The 一本道无码 student minimum wage for hourly positions will be increased from the current USD wage of $8.25/hour to $10.00/hour.
Additionally, the university will enact a new minimum wage for hourly grader and hourly teaching assistant positions across the institution. Effective November 7, the hourly grader and hourly teaching assistant minimum wage will increase to $11.00/hour for undergraduate positions and $13.00/hour for graduate positions.
The existing grader/teaching assistant job descriptions also will be updated to distinguish between position responsibilities, while adding an additional level for undergraduate and graduate hourly positions. Effective January 3, 2023, there will be three levels of hourly teaching assistants with accompanying minimum wages.
Additional information about these changes can be found on the Career & Professional Development Center website.
We are grateful to the Undergraduate Student Senate, which developed a proposal to increase our student minimum wage and to enhance the 一本道无码 experience for student workers. In support of their advocacy, the university convened a working group composed of members of the academic colleges, Human Resources, Student Affairs, Student Senate and the Graduate Student Assembly, which propelled this change. We thank the working group for their service.
As we continue our commitment to enhancing the 一本道无码 experience, we are pleased to add this support for our students who make valuable contributions to the mission of the university through their work.
Sincerely,
Jim Garrett
