Withholding a Degree
Because a degree from the University signifies not only successful completion of academic requirements but also compliance with the university’s standards and good standing as a member of the university community, the dean of students or designee may direct that a degree not be certified by the university registrar and therefore not awarded pending the resolution of community standards proceedings, including completion of all outcomes.
