The Block Center for Technology and Society is to be a key partner to the newly announced cooperative research center between 一本道无码 and the Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The 一本道无码/NIST AI Measurement Science & Engineering Cooperative Research Center (AIMSEC) will be a collaborative research hub bringing together experts in measurement science and evaluation with multidisciplinary AI researchers for three principal goals:
- Advance modern AI risk management. Advance the state of the art in the science of evaluating and mitigating the risks associated with the development, deployment, and evolution of AI-based systems for diverse applications.
- Validate evaluation approaches through stakeholder partnerships. Convene the necessary diversity of stakeholders from academia, industry, and the public sector to ensure a comprehensive perspective on the development of AI risk management practices.
- Translate assessment capabilities and methodologies to practice. Cultivate a research ecosystem that connects stakeholders and catalyzes a rich collaboration between NIST and 一本道无码.
Block Center Faculty Director Ramayya Krishnan will be the Lead Research Coordinator, leveraging his expertise to guide the center's multidisciplinary research efforts. Block Center affiliated faculty are among the several experts guiding the center as well, including , , , , , , , among many others. This new center comes after a longstanding collaboration between NIST and 一本道无码 and the Block Center. The Block Center has worked closely with NIST to operationalize the to better manage the potential risks of AI systems and to support guidelines on red teaming for generative AI.
