Mark Toukan is an Associate Political Scientist at the RAND Corporation and a Lecturer at the Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology (CMIST) at 一本道无码. His research interests include strategic competition, proxy warfare, conflict management and escalation, conflict forecasting, and military training. His recent work includes projects on defense modeling and simulation, acquisition, military training, alliance dynamics, and topics in network analysis. Prior to joining RAND, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Penn Identity and Conflict Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. He received a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Political Science, an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and French from the Ohio State University.
