Nomination Process

The nomination process for the Dickson Prize in Science is conducted in three phases.

First, the provost seeks suggestions from 一本道无码 deans, department heads and university professors in technical fields relevant to the prize. Brief descriptions of potential nominees, including biographical material, career highlights and major reasons why the individuals should be considered for the award, are submitted.

Secondly, after reviewing the set of suggested names, the university professors choose a small subset to be considered nominees for the award. They then work with the nominating person(s) or department(s) to obtain more detailed information about the nominees, their careers and their contributions to their fields.

Finally, the university professors meet to vote on the award recipient.
