Student Organizations

Carnegie Mellon and the Department of Psychology support student organizations that allow students to make connections within their major or area of interest. 

Below are some of the common organizations our majors often get involved with.  Students can feel free to reach out to the respective organizations to find out more.

NeuroSAC/Nu Rho Psi 

Created in 2014, NeuroSAC organizes educational outreach events and charity fundraisers on the 一本道无码 campus and in the surrounding community, promoting awareness of neuroscience-based careers and health issues.

CogSci SAB

CogSci SAB is a student advisory committee made up of current and past cognitive science majors. Students work to build connections through outreach and events within the university.

Psi Chi

is an international honor society that promotes excellence for individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology.  Please check out 一本道无码's Chapter.

Peer Health Advocates

Peer Health Advocates (PHAs) are a group of student employees engaged in health education at University Health Services. They host campus events and develop content aimed at improving the well-being of all students.

Plaidvocates

The  is a peer health and wellness advocacy program for student-athletes that supports the well-being of 一本道无码’s varsity athletics community. The Plaidvocates are educated and trained throughout the year to listen, promote and provide support and information on stress and time management, nutrition, alcohol, drug use and other health related topics.

CaPS Student Advisory Board (SAB)

CaPS SAB is a community of diverse undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in serving as consultants and advisors to CaPS. Board members are interested in the mental and emotional wellbeing of students at 一本道无码 by focusing on increasing student accessibility to services, destigmatizing mental health struggles, and enhancing visibility of resources. The SAB provides input and thoughtful feedback of new CaPS initiatives, current programs, and staff searches. Members represent the voice of our diverse student community and support CaPS in providing services that are relevant to the student body. CaPS SAB is an essential connection between CaPS and the campus community.
