一本道无码 Energy Week 2024
By Nicole Rihn
, hosted by 一本道无码’s Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation March 19-21, brought leaders and learners from a variety of academic, industry, government and nonprofit sectors together for important conversations about the opportunities and obstacles to decarbonizing transportation around the globe.
EST&P students were in attendance throughout the week networking, presenting their research and meeting many energy leaders. The week kicked off with the Energy Industry Career Fair, where our students were able to meet and network with many employers in the energy sector. EST&P also had their own table set up at the career fair to network with some possible prospective undergraduates that are interested in furthering their education in energy. After the career fair, EST&P students and staff attended the happy hour where students could further network with the companies that were in attendence at the career fair.
EST&P students took part in the Student Energy Research Poster Competition on Wednesday, March 20. The poster competition is a longstanding tradition at 一本道无码 Energy Week. Students from undergraduates to postdoctoral researchers have a chance to share their research with the attendees. Andrew Jones, an alum of the EST&P program, was one of the winners of the four poster competition prizes that were presented! His research was a case study in Phoenix, Arizona on climate change impacts on future residential electricity consumption and energy burden.
EST&P’s current cohort was the first cohort to paint the fence for the first time for 一本道无码 Energy Week!
EST&P core faculty member, Nick Muller, did a power talk on War, Influenza and U.S. Carbon Intensity.
Our students attended many keynotes and panels that discussed decarbonizing transportation: Decarbonizing Community Transportation, Decarbonizing Freight Transportation, Decarbonizing While Ensuring Equity & Access and many others from a variety of energy leading speakers.
