Over ten industry experts joined EST&P's 3rd Annual Energy Careers Symposium
More than 100 Carnegie Mellon graduate and undergraduate students attended the 3rd Annual Energy Careers Symposium on Monday, February 9, 2015 in the Cohon University Center. Jointly sponsored by the Energy Science, Technology and Policy (EST&P) program and the , the symposium featured a keynote by Chris Hendrickson, Ph.D., Hamerschlag University Professor and Director of the Traffic 21 Institute. His keynote on “Transportation Energy 2030: Goals and Prospects” was followed by an excellent panel discussion on the future of energy. CEE Professor Constantine Samaras, Ph.D., took questions from the audience and moderated the panel of industry experts: Andrew Place (Corporate Director of Energy and Environmental Policy, ); Lee Carson (Department Manager of Shipboard Electrical Systems, ); Jesse Goellner, Ph.D. (Senior Associate, ); Christopher Bostaph (Vice President for Energy, ); and Kevin Sheen (Senior Director, Development, ).
