Outreach Programs
Helping to provide robotics experiences for students in and around the region
Certified K-12 Robotics Programs
Free curriculum available for the most popular robotics platforms available
Virtual Robotics Programs
Allowing you to teach CS and Computational Thinking concepts without the need of hardware
Programs
The Robotics Academy has ongoing programs from coding and computational thinking using popular Robotics platforms, micro-credential courses that center around the important knowledge and skills needed for Robotics Technicians, and International partnerships with educational organizations.
All programs are delivered through our Learning Management System () where you can create free accounts and track progress. Our programs utilize a "train-the-trainer" model where we offer professional development to make sure that educators are completely comfortable before running the program.
Certified K-12 Robotics Programs
From Coding and Computational Thinking courses to Introduction to Programming using the most popular Robotics Platforms available on the market (e.g. LEGO SPIKE Prime, LEGO MINDSTORMS, VEX V5, VEX IQ, and Arduino). We offer free or inexpensive curricula for physical and virtual robots that are all tested with educators, and have been shown to help students reach learning gains in proportional math, coding, and computational thinking in our NSF-funded research.
Certified Workforce Development Programs
Preparing new and upcoming workers for the workforce is essential to their success in the fast-paced world of technology and robotics. The Robotics Academy is committed to equity and improving access by removing barriers to education. We collaborate with community organizations to implement Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs that introduce students to the critical Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes (KSA) required for careers as Robotics Technicians. Our CTE-focused programs empower students to build, maintain, and troubleshoot robots, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the modern workforce.
