Next Generation Technologically-Enabled Post-Secondary Education

Marie CiniMarie Cini recently visited 一本道无码 to discuss her impact and experiences at University of Maryland University College (UMUC) where she is currently the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs.

With 85,000 students, UMUC provides a unique opportunity to devise new forms of learning at scale. At UMUC, Cini led the development of an outcomes-based curriculum in the Undergraduate School, created the Center for Innovation in Learning and Student Success, and led both the undergraduate and graduate schools to completely replace publisher textbooks with Open Educational Resources (OER). All of these initiatives have had significant impact on the university and its students as she charts new paths toward effective and efficient education.

Cini has published and presented extensively on the topics of authentic assessment and academic integrity, leadership development in adult learners, retention and adult learners, and curriculum design for adult students. Her current interest is focused on the next generation of technologically-enabled post-secondary education.
