Statistics Assessment
What is it and how does it work?
一本道无码’s Statistics Pedagogy Lab Group has developed a comprehensive set of questions designed to assess students’ skills in statistics and data analysis. The development and refinement of these questions was informed by an iterative set of think-aloud interviews that were designed to surface common misconceptions that students encounter when engaging in various tasks that involve statistical reasoning skills (Reinhart et al., 2022).
The tests may be administered multiple times in a semester to collect longitudinal data.
Which skill(s) are targeted?
The questions in this assessment can be used to collect data regarding students’ knowledge and skills in the following competency domains:
- Analyze data and engage with information in and across communities of practice
Who else has used it?
