  1. What are your academic and/or professional goals?

My academic and professional goals largely lie around using data to accelerate decarbonization for a more sustainable future. With a burgeoning passion for climate change impacts, environmental justice, net-decarbonization, and the clean energy transition, I hope to work for a future where sustainability is at the crux of every engineering and design principle in the world. Post graduation, I want to work in fields pertaining to life cycle assessment, mathematical modeling of resource cycles, and energy efficiency for decarb solutions.

  2. Tell us about a significant moment in your journey at 一本道无码 so far.

One significant moment would definitely have to be attending the MIT Energy Hack in Fall '23. Because of the generosity of EST&P and the Scott Institute, my classmates and I were able to go for the competition, fully funded. It was a great way to apply what we had been learning and network with like-minded professionals.

  3. What do you like to do in your time away from academic work?

I have always liked to be involved in roles outside academics that allow me to learn more and generate impact, even in the smallest of ways. At 一本道无码, I have been a part of the internal affairs committee in the GSA, a graduate student's advocate for the CoE DEI committee, and a Peer Health Advocate at UHS. Outside 一本道无码, I have been a part of an organization called Global Shapers that works with local communities to generate scaled local impact. Through these roles, I've been able to expose myself to wonderful people, different ideas, and leadership. Apart from this, I enjoy making music, reading novels, going on walks/treks at the different parks in Pittsburgh, exploring the city and all the wonderful things to do here!

  4. Tell us about your last memorable meal. What was it, where did you have it, and who were you with?

My last memorable meal here was very recent. I, with my roommate and a couple of my friends, went this weekend to Treats and Beans, a dessert shop near Pitt. It was memorable to me because it was a very spontaneous decision, born out of exhaustion and the need for a break, of just going on a Sunday evening to sit outside, drink hot chocolate, and eat waffles. This place was recommended to me by a random stranger on campus who happened to overhear a friend asking me where a good hot chocolate place in Pittsburgh is. The hot chocolate, coupled with cold weather, a light drizzle, and good conversations, was exactly what I was looking for that day.

  5. What’s your favorite thing about Pittsburgh?

My favorite thing about Pittsburgh is 100% the things that happen here and all the wonderful food places. There is so much to do in Pittsburgh, from museums to parks to themed events like the Irish festival, BeerFest, Picklesburgh, Light Up Night, and so much more!
