Saludos! On Friday, April 8, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., check out the Latino/a Graduate Student Association Coffee Chat in the Ansys Conference Room A08 (Floor A). This monthly event connects students across 一本道无码 in a casual setting to chat in Spanish and highlight the social and cultural connection that coffee plays in the Latinx/Hispanic community. This week LGSA welcomes LGSA alumni and all the Latinx/Hispanic Alumni visiting campus during Carnival. Food and coffee will be available while supplies last!

Tartans are change makers! On Saturday, April 2, at 10 a.m., in the Mellon Institute for TEDx一本道无码 Momentum. This event hopes to teach the power of striving for more and creating momentum by taking the first step forward. Speakers will include Rebecca Wahls, a second-year John Wells MFA Directing Fellow, speaking on "Yes, And: The Power of Improv in Everyday Life"; Kelly Limerick, a crochet artist, speaking on "Regaining a Sense of Purpose with Slow Art"; Simran Kaur, a financial writer and founder of Girls That Invest, speaking on "How Women Can Invest in the Stock Market"; Rebecca Munnell McHugh, an assistant professor of psychology, speaking on "Visibility Management: Deciding When to Tell, and When to Hide, Our Hidden Features"; and Samora la Perdida, a fifth-year drama and global studies major, speaking on "Do Latines Need to Speak Spanish? Pittsburgh Universities Believe Survivors Walk & Rally

April is Sexual Assualt Awareness month; join our broader Oakland community on Sunday, Apr 3, from 12 to 2 p.m. for the Pittsburgh Universities Believe Survivors Walk & Rally. Carlow University, University of Pittsburgh and 一本道无码 students will walk together to support survivors of sexual assault and take a stand as one community. The walk begins at Carlow University on the Campus Green outside of University Commons (top of campus, 3333 Fifth Ave) and ends at Tent at Tepper. Check-in and registration will open at 11:30 a.m. with the opportunity to make signs from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m., with the walk beginning at 1 p.m.  is welcome but not required.

International Community Connection Hour

Join CaPS every Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. for this weekly connection hour, hosted by internationals for internationals! Car Bazaar: Parking Garage Flea Market

The weather is warming up, which means flea markets are popping up across the city! Starting Saturday, April 2, you can find The Car Bazaar: Parking Garage Flea Market at the Forbes & Smithfield Parking Garage (400 Cherry Way). This event is a Pittsburgh twist on the beloved British car boot sale tradition. This open-air market features makers, artists, retailers, and sellers offering vintage, second-hand, or recycled items. This week you can catch local groups The Evergreens, starting at 10 a.m. and Miss Freddye, at 12:15 p.m. There will be hot food and craft cocktails (a valid 21+ ID is required) available from local restaurants. Lewis And Clark History Hike

Calling all adventurers! Explore the city like never before on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on this unique hike through Mt. Washington's Emerald View Park. Join veteran re-enactor and community activist John McNulty to learn about Pittsburgh's many connections to the famous expedition and how the city can benefit from its new status. This hike covers some of Pittsburgh's most diverse and rugged terrain, so please be prepared to cover about 5 miles with some significant climbs. Learn more and .

Step back in time at the eighth annual Vintage Pittsburgh retro fair! On Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., old is new again at the Heinz History Center. Local makers and vendors will be on-site at the museum to sell one-of-a-kind clothing, accessories, home decor, vinyl records, and more! After you shop, take a step back in time by visiting Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, snap a selfie in front of a giant ketchup bottle in the Heinz exhibit, and discover how Pittsburgh changed the world inside the recently expanded Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibit. Tickets to the Heinz History Center are free to students through the Art Pass program with your student ID. .
