Carnegie Mellon Commencement Weekend
Congratulations Graduates! We are so proud of all of you and can't wait to see all the fantastic things you'll do in the future. Whether you'll be graduating this weekend or want to support your friends who will be, here's a quick rundown of the weekend schedule: Throughout the weekend, 一本道无码's colleges, schools and departments will host diploma and doctoral hooding ceremonies for their graduates. On Saturday, May 13, doctoral candidates will celebrate their achievements during the President's Doctoral Candidate Reception. On Sunday, May 14, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree candidates will come together for a full commencement ceremony in Gesling Stadium on 一本道无码's campus. You've earned your Commencement Weekend, Tartans. Enjoy!

Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books
On Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., check out one of the coolest bookish events in the city! The Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books is a free event in East Liberty that celebrates the city's rich literary community and love of reading. Poets, authors, book enthusiasts and more gather at the GPFB to pay tribute to Pittsburgh's growing literary reputation. The festival features nationally renowned authors with ties to Pittsburgh, dozens of poets, children's activities, book and comic stores, entertainment, publishers and more. All ages are welcome to attend – from children to senior citizens and everyone in between. .
We Shall Not Be Moved
On selected days in May, check out We Shall Not Be Moved. We Shall Not Be Moved is the story of five North Philadelphia teens who find refuge in an abandoned, condemned house in West Philadelphia after going on the run after a series of tragic incidents, only to find themselves caught up in a decades-old tragedy. Combining spoken word, contemporary movement, video projection, classical, R&B, and jazz singing, and a brooding, often joyful score filled with place, purpose, and possibility, We Shall Not Be Moved is a timely exploration of past and present struggles that suggest an alternative future through the eyes of its young protagonists. .
Pittonkatonk
Pittonkatonk is music without boundaries! On Saturday, May 13, at 1 p.m., head to Shenley Park for the annual Pittonkatonk May Day BBQ. Check out performances from local, national, and international activist bands, and interact with social and environmental justice organizations. This festival believes in music in public spaces that belong to everyone, with no stage, no doors, and no right way to express yourself. !
