The Steinbrenner Institute will be hosting its annual Sustainability Symposium on March 21st, 2025 in Bosch Spark Conference Room. The symposium is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to showcase projects and research of theirs which relate to sustainability in some way. Two students with exemplary projects will be awarded with $1,500 Travel Awards.
Introducing a brand new, environmentally focused student organized lecture series for the Spring 2025 semester! Defeating Doomism is a source of hope in a time when it can be hard to find. Complex problems continue to arise that put the future of our planet at threat, but many scholars are still finding new ways to fight for sustainable growth and innovation. Throughout the course of the upcoming months, a small handful of the many environmental scholars from our university will be providing their insights on the battle we are taking in search of a sustainable future for our planet. Each session will include a short presentation followed by ample time for discussion. Come prepared to learn and ask questions!
Mending Workshops

Another series of workshops will also take place throughout Pittsburgh this summer and is free and open to the public!
