My name is Alana, and I graduated from Brandeis University in 2019 with majors in Neuroscience, Biology, and East Asian Studies. During my gap year, I continued working at Brandeis under Dr. Arthur Wingfield where I studied the perception of speech prosody among cochlear implant users. I am currently interested in exploring the relationship between executive function and auditory processing, particularly when the auditory information is degraded, such as in the case of hearing loss. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and playing chess!
