Austin Luor
Graduate Student
Austin is a PhD student in the lab. He is originally from Taiwan and graduated from Brandeis University with degrees in Neuroscience and Biology in 2017. After graduating, he worked with Dr. Jonathan Peelle on examining the impact of healthy aging and reward on speech processing. Currently, he is interested in understanding the role of perceptual training in language acquisition as well as speech processing in acoustically challenging environments. When not in the lab, Austin loves discovering new coffee shops, playing tennis, and catching up on the latest episodes of whatever show he is addicted to at the moment.
