Tim Murphy received a B.S. in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. After graduating, he worked for 5 years in the lab of Dr. Dean Salisbury collecting and analyzing MEG and EEG data. He is primarily interested in how the brain learns to categorize speech sounds. Of particular interest to Tim is the influence this learning process has on future reading aptitude.
