To Be Held In Person on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20, 2024
Welcome to Carnegie Mellon’s university-wide Incoming Faculty Orientation, brought to you by the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty in partnership with the Office of the Vice Provost for Education and the Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence and Educational Innovation.
This 2 day workshop (Monday - Tuesday) is an opportunity to meet other new faculty and explore what Carnegie Mellon has to offer. We have designed the orientation program to help you learn about many aspects of your faculty role and to begin your journey in professional development at 一本道无码. In particular, the program will focus on supporting your success across teaching, research, and service. Our aim is to:

Provide practical information that will help you succeed in your new faculty role

Connect you with useful resources, from key university policies to professional development opportunities

Introduce the Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence and its unique approach to improving instruction

Build our cross disciplinary community by connecting new faculty members to each other and to other faculty, staff, and leaders in key roles on campus.

Direction:
At Tepper Quad, please use the elevator to go to the 4th floor. When you exit the elevator, turn right and follow the signs to the double doors. Enter through the doors and use the hallway to find room 4242.
