Laura Pottmeyer joined the Eberly Center in 2019, where as a Senior Data Science Research Associate, she consults with faculty members and graduate students on implementing educational research projects.  She assists with study design, data collection, and data analysis.

Laura’s training includes a Ph.D. in Science Education and M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia, where she studied the impact of engineering design integrated science on student learning.  She has taught a variety of education courses aimed at preparing future science teachers.  Prior to working at the Eberly Center, Laura was a Research Associate for the Jefferson Education Exchange, a non-profit focused on technology integration in schools.
