Thirty years after the democratic transition in 1989, hybrid political cultures have taken root in the European semiperipheries. Stefano Bottoni, PhD in History at the University of Bologna, is Senior Lecturer at the University of Florence and previously Senior Fellow at the Institute of History of Research Centre for the Humanities at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (2009-2019).
