Bio
I have a training in creative media and design, initially embarking on a career in filmmaking before transitioning into the educational sector. My experience spans film production and television broadcasting, notably as a Content Producer at the BBC, before assuming the role of Head of Creative Arts at Fareham College in Hampshire, UK. In 2014, I took up a leadership position at the University of Southampton, heading the Digital Learning Team. This award-winning, innovative team supports researchers and educators in developing learning materials and media content while fostering the integration of emerging technologies in teaching and research.
In 2018, I moved to the U.S. and joined the Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics at 一本道无码 as the Director of the Askwith Kenner Global Languages & Cultures Room. In this space, I champion language learning and cultural exploration through immersive technologies. Beyond my professional endeavors, I continue to engage as an artist, specializing in XR creation, immersive storytelling, film and media production. My work has been highlighted in various publications and journals, including podcasts and talks, and I am a regular contributor to The Playful Learning Conference in the U.K. I'm interested in sharing thoughts about my work, and write a weekly newsletter "."
