Lean Six Sigma Program Graduates

一本道无码 celebrated the graduation of its sixth Lean Six Sigma cohort. After completing foundational LSS training in Summer 2024, participants formed four project teams and partnered with campus departments to tackle process improvement projects. Over the fall, each team gathered data to develop objective, data-driven recommendations. They then presented their findings and proposals to project and executive sponsors.

About the Program

The Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training program, launched by Human Resources in 2018, is now an annual event. The program teaches participants how to use data to improve processes. Rick Schleusener, a senior consultant and LSS trainer, guides participants in learning and applying LSS principles. Participants demonstrate their understanding by completing a real-world project that addresses a specific improvement opportunity at the university. Throughout their projects, participants meet regularly with Rick and the HR Learning and Development team to discuss progress and refine their recommendations.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are encouraged and supported in taking the certification exam to become a Green Belt through the International Association of Lean Six Sigma Certification, an independent organization that facilitates testing for groups and individuals who have completed recognized training.
